Refunds & Returns Policy

1. Overview

At Poisons TCG, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase.
We follow the Australian Consumer Law, which guarantees certain rights for customers, including repairs, replacements, or refunds for faulty products.

This policy outlines when and how you may request a return or refund for items purchased from us.

2. Change of Mind Returns

Please choose carefully — as a general rule, we do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind, incorrect choice, or accidental purchase.

However, at our discretion, we may approve a return or exchange if:

  • The item is unopened, unused, and in its original condition, and

  • The return request is made within 7 days of receiving your order.

In these cases, the customer is responsible for all return postage costs.

Note: Trading Card Game (TCG) products such as sealed booster packs, boxes, or individual cardscannot be returned or refunded once opened, due to the collectible and randomised nature of the contents.

3. Faulty or Damaged Items

If you receive an item that is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible at [insert your contact email].

To help us resolve the issue quickly, please provide:

  • Your order number

  • A description of the issue

  • Clear photos showing the defect, damage, or incorrect item

Once we verify the issue, we will offer:

  • A replacement, store credit, or refund, depending on the situation

  • A prepaid return label if the product needs to be sent back

We comply with all obligations under the Australian Consumer Law, which means you are entitled to a remedy if your product is faulty or not as described.

4. Return Process

  2. Wait for our response — we’ll confirm eligibility and provide return instructions.

  3. Pack the item securely (in original packaging, if possible).

  4. Ship it using the instructions provided.

Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you by email regarding your refund or replacement.

5. Refunds

  • Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 3–5 business days of approval.

  • Please allow additional time for your bank or payment provider to post the refund.

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable, except where the return is due to our error or a faulty item.

6. Non-Returnable Items

For health, safety, and authenticity reasons, the following cannot be returned:

  • Opened or unsealed trading card products (booster packs, boxes, decks, etc.)

  • Single trading cards

  • Digital products or download codes

  • Gift cards or promotional items
